2010 Chamber Legislative Agenda

The Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce is committed to representing our membership and serving as an advocate for issues of importance to our business community at every level of government. Through a member-driven process, The Chamber annually develops a legislative agenda that serves as a framework for our efforts to impact the legislative process.

Our organization engages our membership through our Government Issues committee and special events throughout the year with our elected representatives. It is our goal to create a forum to educate our members on issues affecting their business and the community, while providing an opportunity to be a part of the process.

During the Florida legislative session, your Chamber works with community partners and promote pro-business legislation on your behalf to serve as the voice of the regional business community. We encourage all of our members to become engaged in our public policy efforts!
