The strength and success of our Chamber is dependent upon the contributions and commitment of our dedicated members. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate on one of our many committees, work groups or through other programming. Personal involvement gives you the opportunity to play an active role in the development of our local business community.
We are proud to offer our members a multitude of programs and services geared toward fulfilling our mission "to improve the business climate, economy and the quality of life in Ocala/Marion County." Our well-rounded scope of services has earned our Chamber 5-Star Accreditation status, which is certified by the United States Chamber of Commerce. We proudly share this rare honor with very few of the country’s Chambers.

Goal: To address issues impacting the small business community; create an entrepreneurial atmosphere that fosters communication of ideas, networking and educational opportunities.
Meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 8:00 am, Chamber Board Room

Government Issues Committee
Goal: To serve as the lead advocate for business issues in Ocala/Marion County; to promote a pro-business legislation and responsible government on the local, state and federal levels. Establish programs that engage Chamber members and focus on monitoring local and state issues affecting community and business.

Goal: To provide professional advice and experience to increase publicity of Chamber programs and initiatives through media relationships and communication.

Resource Development Campaign
(Chamber Resource Campaign)
Goal: To raise sponsorship revenue and grow membership to sustain and grow the Chamber's programs and initatives.
Campaign begins Spring 2010.

Goal: Develop, implement and evaluate events that provide members with the opportunity to network and promote their business while creating non-dues revenue for the Chamber.
