The Academy, aimed at aspiring business owners, provides practical instruction on marketing, budgeting, creating business plans and handling legal aspects of running a business and becoming bankable. The 10-week Entrepreneurial Academy sessions are from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday’s at the Chamber of Commerce Building. Each session is taught by prominent, local business owners and Chamber members who offer real life lessons and instructions pertinent to creating a profitable business. The program, made possible by the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and a Workforce Florida grant, has earned a reputation statewide as being the best cultivator of entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurial Academy Class I student commented, “Excellent content and insight, the Academy is making my vision a reality!”
